I just got back from a 5 day vacation in Coron and I have no regrets about how dark I got because the place is truly deserving to be in one of the top 10 beaches in the world . Each vacation break my kids get from school, my husband and I try to bring them to a new place. Coron is so pristine, never mind if the internet was kinda wonky at Two Seasons (the resort we stayed in). There was too much beauty to admire anyway.
We took a quick 45 minute flight via PAL to Busuanga . My daughter and I were so excited to be in the same flight as Tonette Jadaone, director of the popular tv drama On The Wings of Love and one of my favourite local movies, That Thing Called Tadhana.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a guide from Two Seasons Resort . We boarded a mini bus to the jetty port in the city, then boarded their speedboat for a 45 minute ride to the resort.
the gorgeous sand bar behind the resort- you’ll have to ask permission before you can come across. Apparently, the island next to the resort is not owned by Two Seasons
We were able to see all 6 major highlights of Coron :
Siete Pecados- great snorkelling site!
Kayangan Lake- a little trek and you’ll reach that popular spot for a beautiful photo
Banol Beach
Barracuda Lake
Skeleton Wreck
Twin Lagoon
as well as Malcapuya and Banana Island
It’s been only a few days since we got back but I’m already missing…
and the warm hospitality of the Two Seasons’ Staff, most especially our very efficient guide, Vincent. We will definitely be back! 🙂
