Growing up, I never understood my Lola’s obsession with pinoy soap operas ( at that time, it was Mara Clara with Judy Ann Santos)- I thought all they did was to cry and fight. Then a couple of years ago, I got hooked on Boys Over Flowers, the popular Korean drama that became a hit around the world and got me hooked on watching more Kdramas.
In the local scene, I would only watch movies with Piolo and John Lloyd in it. Then ‘Just The Way You Are’ happened. It’s the new film starring young stars- Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. I watched it because my daughter is a fan and I really wanted to spend time with her before she left for camp. I am not ashamed to say that I enjoyed the film. You have two ridiculously good-looking actors who can really act. I love their chemistry on screen, everything seems so real that you wish they were a real couple off screen (if they aren’t).

Enrique and Liza can be addicting. I had to stop myself from watching it a third time. My friend, Karen, suggested for me to watch their teleserye (tv drama) Forevermore which started last October 2014 and ended in May 2015.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet them when I found out they were having a concert in Biñan , Laguna last night. I asked my ever supportive husband if he can verify and inquire about it through his friend and former UNTV Cup basketball teammate Councilor Gel Alonte. I was beyond excited when my husband told me that Liza and Enrique will be dropping by Councilor’s Gel’s place before proceeding to the venue and we could probably meet them there.
We also had the opportunity to meet Gel’s older sister and Biñan Mayor , Len Alonte. It was truly an honor to meet Mayor Len and her family. Their projects/programs in the city are admirable and inspirational.

Ms. Keri, I find it magical how these two people have affected so many lives. I’ve been hearing so many praises for them on how they make people feel good by just watching them. I experience it all the time when I watch them. I just hope that they will be taken care of by the network they are in because I think they deserve to be on top. Same scenario happened with me Ms. Keri, it was my cousin who religiously watched Forevermore in October and asked me to watch it as well. But I was very busy and it was only in mid February that I got the chance to watch it. And since then, I became a certified LIzquen fan.
Hi! i love reading your post about LizQuen and like you I am a K-drama addict and a shipper of Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye but when I heard the news of their individual lovelife I felt frustrated. Good thing, when Forevermore was about to end I got hooked and fell in love with Enrique and Liza. I am not a fan at first but when I get to search and know things about them, I get addicted and forgot about my k-drama addiction for a while because of this two individuals who makes me feel good everytime I see them. Now, I am rewatching all the movies, shows, guestings, etc. that they are on it. I reopened my twitter account which I’m not active for about 3 years just to be updated about them and everytime I open my IG, I will go directly to #LizQuen page hahaha!!! Anyways, I only wish for the best of this two lovely loveteam/couple and I pray that Enrique’s hope for Forever with Liza will come true in God’s perfect time because I believe that God made them match together and be a strength to each other. Hehe – I just started watching Feb 2015 and I got hooked by being curious. Got bored with Korean dramas and I am happy because Forevermore brought me back to my love of Pinoy Dramas. I really lost it in the last 15 years. Plus these two lovely actors are great and humble personally.
I have watch episode 1-140++. episode 3 times with iwant tv and watch movie 3 times in the movie theater me not even a movie goer.
