Pampers Celebration of Firsts

Jane   4 May , 2015

If you follow my instagram account, you would have seen my posts on my many #FirstsWithPampers. Although this is my third child, it feels like we’re having a “first” again. Our baby LJ is our unica hija, and we are experiencing many firsts as taking care of a baby girl is different compared to a baby boy.

Thank goodness for Pampers, I don’t need to worry about her getting irritable. They really do dry up fast, and they have proven to be leak-proof, too!

Just the other day, when I brought LJ down to our living room, her dad smiled and with a soft voice, greeted her. I have never heard my husband speak that way haha… because it has always been rowdy and “macho” in the house, so our baby LJ adds a little bit of serenity in our household *insert soft classical music*

Just like my family, Pampers has indeed witnessed many firsts with families for over two decades, and celebrated its all-new Pampers Baby Dry diapers by surprising over 1,600 mommies and newborn babies from Bacolod, Baguio, Bataan, Batangas, Bicol, Bulacan, Butuan, Cagayan, Cavite, CDO, Cebu, Davao, Gen San, Iligan, Ilocos, Iloilo, La Union, Zamboanga and many more were surprised by Pampers. Some of the hospitals visited in NCR were Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center, Philippine General Hospital, and St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City.

“Every Pampers product has a story,” says country marketing manager of P&G Distributing (Phils.), Inc. Jan Ang. “With Pampers Baby Dry, our best and driest diaper in 10 years, we don’t only join you and your baby in your journey of firsts, but also support and encourage you, mommies, along the way,” she added.

Imagine entering a decorated hospital room that greets you and your newborn with colorful balloons and banners. Isn’t it the most awesome experience? You, welcoming your child into the world, and Pampers welcoming your family to the wonderful world of parenting.

I remember the first few weeks of all three of our babies. The most stressful part was when they get rashes, from diapers (or cloth diapers or lampin) that aren’t fast-drying. Pampers make sure to keep our babies dry and soft with its fast-drying properties that lasts up to 12 hours, which is why I am rest assured that these babies will be able to sleep longer. SLEEP is the most important during the early stages: “Sleep for babies is about the overall development of their health,” explained Pampers partner pediatrician Dra. Apple Alfonso. “However, wetness has been suggested as one of the most common factors that disrupt baby’s sleep. This is where trusted diapers like Pampers Baby Dry come to rescue,” she added.

Mommy Melody Choresca who gave birth to a bouncing baby boy named Yvan Zander (born 7.7. lbs) said, “Para sa akin maski yung mga simpleng bagay sobrang special na, like his first yawn.” Yvan is already her third child but the feeling is still the same, she said.  I can totally relate to her, anything our baby does gets me so kilig 🙂

And from hospitals, Pampers also surprised mommies right at the comforts of their home with the limited edition Pampers Baby Dry cabinet. And I was one of them:

How adorable is this Pampers baby-dry cabinet? 🙂

Thank you for these sweet gifts for my babies, Pampers!
