Like fashion, less is more for me when it comes to the beauty department. I want to feel like I don’t have any makeup on. So I don’t really put foundation all over my face, just on the areas that I think I need coverage. But if it’s light and delivers more than just coverage, I might just change my mind. A handful of us were invited to an intimate lunch at M Cafe in Greenbelt 3, where we were introduced to the growing family of the Pond’s BB+ Cream family.

This will really help get BB cream to a lot more women, and help them experience instantly flawless and radiant skin.”
Agoo Bengzon, the newest beauty addition to the Pond’s family, also shared her sentiments on this newest product: “It’s so lightweight. It just goes on so smoothly, and I love the texture, because it’s not chalk-y.”

“There are some BB creams out there that feel very heavy and they feel like you’re putting something on. This one’s like a moisturizer, and it has that flesh-color that gives you that foundation look, but in a natural way. A lot of Pinays use skincare, but not makeup, because they don’t have the time. But this does everything for you already,” Agoo adds.

I was seated with my “batchmates” from my publishing industry days. It’s also great that we got to sit down with Cesca, who gave us more juicy tidbits with regards to their newest product. Their Research & Development team wanted to relay to us (and to our readers) that “we may not be the first BB cream in the market, but we are definitely the best. Usually the higher the SPF, the oilier it gets. Now, what makes our R&D team so proud is that they were able to develop this formulation at SPF 30 and yet, it comes in a matte powder finish. And based on clinical tests, it is the most non-comedogenic. And a lot of people complain about getting pimples, especially with BB creams as it tends to get oilier with all the ingredients there, but this BB cream is skin-friendly that way.”
We capped off our delightful lunch affair with the Pond’s team asking us to list down our top three makeup must-haves, and this is what I wrote down:
