The ghost month is done and over! Yesterday, August 25, marked the first day of the 8th month of the Lunar calendar. Are you still following? hehe…
And what a stressful month it has been for everyone, be it on a personal note or for the nation, even for the whole world! Time to get crackin’ and moving double time, as we make up for loss time (and money) with the past month prohibiting us from starting anything productive AND low sales. You’ve seen it everywhere — almost all the stores are on sale until the end of this month.
As we look forward to the “ber” months (gasps!), our schedules will be packed with business and personal plans alike, how do we keep ourselves calm and collected?
Swiping on some color on your lippies should do the trick! This simple and easy application can give so much power to the wearer, and can even be a pick-me-upper when you’re down. Even during the midst of every financial crisis from way back in the 1930s, purchasing small-priced goodies such as lipstick have been proven to help lift moods and spirits up. In fact, there was an article that came out in the Wall Street Journal site that: “Though consumers cut corners when the economy stalled, many returned to buy more high-end cosmetics and fragrances last year, boosting beauty companies’ growth.”
After all, it does make sense. A tube of lipstick can do all these, and even make you look more presentable and favorable (if you wear it with confidence) at any setting. So, take your pick and have fun with the latest lippie offerings from these cosmetic brands, at your preferred budget:

First of all I love dark nail polish – sesaonal or not. This one is really gorgeous and the name is killing me 🙂 Fabulous! One of my favorite dark hues is OPI s Lincoln Park after dark. Never tried the Tom Ford polishes though!
