When my husband asked me to join him for the advance special screening of Heneral Luna I immediately said yes. I enjoy watching historical films and I have been a fan of John Arcilla since seeing his film Metro Manila.
The advance special screening was held at the new Greenhills Promenade last August 10, 2015. The proceeds of the screening went to Hero Foundation, an organization that gives educational assistance to children of Filipino soldiers killed in battle.
Honestly, I never knew much about General Antonio Luna til this movie. He was such a passionate leader and I wish we had more leaders like him today.
